Almost Done: Arsenal Close To Deal For Midfield Maestro

Arsenal Close To Deal For Midfield Maestro

North Londoners Arsenal are reportedly close to agreeing a deal to keep midfielder Aaron Ramsey at the club.

Arsenal is understood to have entered into another round of negotiations with the Welshman and his representatives, and so far, talks between both parties are moving at a good pace.

Meanwhile, the midfielder wife is reportedly having his babies, as reports suggest the couples will be welcoming a set of twins soon.

This is music to the ears of  Arsenal, as that will influence the Welshman decision to stay at the club, and avoid leaving at the stage in his personal life.

Club boss Unai Emery has said the Welshman is an integral part of his plan ahead of the new season, and is understood to have pleaded with the club’s hierarchy to persuade the 29-year-old to remain at the club.

For some time now, Ramsey has been touted to depart the club after talks to tie him down in recent weeks had failed.

But now, the Gunners may have crossed that hurdle and according to the reliable Telegraph, “Arsenal are currently close to agreement with Aaron Ramsey on a new contract…”

Matteo Guendouzi, newcomer was earmarked to replaced the Welshman at the middle of the field, a move frowned at by the Wales international, who revealed that talks over his stay had dragged on because he needed assurance he would keep his role at the Emirates.

If the former FA Cup winners succeed in making him stay, fans have called that he should be handed the captain armband at the club.
