Versatile Midfielder Arrive Club Ahead Of Chelsea Switch
Chelsea youngster Trevoh Chalobah is on the verge of joining Championship side Ipswich Town Football Club, this is according to report.
The youngster was handed his first professional contract for Chelsea in the summer of 2016 and following his unprecedented development, he was handed another deal earlier this year.
The versatile defender was named on the bench for Chelsea when they thumped Manchester United to win the FA Cup last season. The 18-year-old star is yet to make an appearance for the senior squad of Chelsea but he will spend next season on loan.
The player was spotted at Playford Road ahead of talks with Blues boss Paul Hurst over a potential loan deal. And now, it appears that all is in place for the player to join up with squad as they resume training ahead of the coming season, reports twtd.
Chalobah joined Chelsea before his ninth birthday and has won various trophies for the youth team of the Blues.
He has also featured for the U16, U17 and U19 levels of England and can operate in various positions across the backline.
He even earned a call up to the three Lions squad ahead of the World Cup but we’ll keep an eye on him as he progresses.
