Chelsea Striker Reveals Transfer Decision Ahead Of January Window

Chelsea and Valencia striker Michy Batshuayi has ruled out talks suggesting he has had a fall out with the La Liga outfit.

The Belgian international join Los Che this summer in a season-long loan deal after Valencia refused to give off hints of laying off on the chase for the prolific scorer, prompting Chelsea to allow him to leave on loan.

But it hasn’t been a rosy affair in Spain for Batshuayi, who has yet to stamp his mark in Spain, the same way he sparked bursting bubbles of joy in the heart of Blues fan during his spell at the club.

Rumours bandied about claimed the Belgian striker was raring for a move away from the Valencia. The rumours continued piling that Batshuayi had caused a rift in the club, attracting worrying concerns.

However, the Belgian striker whose brace helped Belgium secure a 2-nil win over Iceland in Thursday’s Nations League tournament has quickly ruled out the story, calling them ‘just rumours’.

Batshuayi told reporters that any talks discussing his early exit from the Mestalla should be ignored.

“Any talk of my departure from Valencia are just rumours,” Batshuayi told reporters, in quotes cited by Marca.

“I have no issues with the club whatsoever and I have a strong understanding with the Coach.

“We are in a bad run of form and our only focus is to work on overcoming this slump.”

He explained that he has no issues with the club, and has a perfectly knitted relationship with the coach.

Valencia are experiencing a bad run of form, and Batshuayi hasn’t helped much either, bagging just 2 goals in 15 games this season.

But he reassured the club is doing all they can including the players in ‘overcoming this slump’.
