€65m Bid Submitted: Man United To Agree Deal For Perfect Eric Bailly Partner

Man United To Agree Deal For Perfect Eric Bailly Partner

Jose Mourinho appears very determined to prove his critiques wrong next season but he knows he may not be able to do so without fortifying every aspect of his squad.

Although United have secured the capture of Diogo Dalot and Fred, they are looking to make Milan Skriniar  their third summer signing and have tabled a bid for the defender, according to report.

United ended last Premier league season with the second best defensive record but the form of Chris Smalling and Phil Jones towards the close of the season left so much to be desired – while United have a plethora of centre-backs, Mourinho is looking to offload one of them and sign a replacement in Skriniar.

The 23-year-old rock solid defender joined Inter Milan from Seria A side Sampdoria only last season but he featured for the side in all their league games and he was fundamental to their champions league qualification.

In a bid to prise the star away from the San Siro, Man United have tabled a £57m(€65m) bid for him. However, United may have to look elsewhere to fortify their squad as the Metro claims the offer has been knocked back by the Seria A giants.

United were heavily linked with the signing of Ivan Perisic last term from Inter Milan and despite making two bids, they failed to get their man. Inter Milan have proven that they are difficult to deal with when it comes to the transfer of players. United are likely going to improve their offer for the player but we wait to see how this pans out.
