Man United 21 Year Old Star Attracting Interest From Spain
The Premier League giants Manchester United goalkeeper Joel Pereira is reportedly drawing attention from La Liga trio Sevilla, Real Betis and Real Sociedad ahead of the 2018-19 season.
Joel Pereira is currently Manchester United’s third-choice shot-stopper, with Spaniard David de Gea and Argentina international Sergio Romero ahead of him in the pecking order at the Red Devils.
The 21-year-old star is highly-rated at Manchester United, but it is understood that the club’s Portuguese boss Jose Mourinho would be ready to send the Portugal U21 international on loan for the 2018-19 campaign.
According to U.S.-based sports television channel ESPN, Sevilla, Real Betis and Real Sociedad are all interested in the promising young talent this summer transfer market, although the Italian sides Torino, Fiorentina and Atalanta are also believed to be closely monitoring the situation of Joel Pereira.
Joel has only made three senior-team appearances for Manchester United since joining the club from the Swiss side Xamax II back in 2012.
At this moment, there are no official negotiations between any interested parties’ executives and Manchester United’s management over the possible transfer of Joel Pereira.
