Roman Abramovich Arrive Club Ahead Of €100m Deal For Chelsea Next Summer Signings

Chelsea FC are set to land duo Gonzalo Higuain and Daniele Rugani this summer, as owner Roman Abramovich has arrived in Milan to seal the deal with Juventus.

At the tag end of last campaign, the Blues appeared stale in their creativity up front as club record-signing Álvaro Morata missed a couple of sitters.

His demeanour on the field of play was discrediting, and he was rewarded with a move to the sidelines.

It prompted a search for another forward after the rude dismissal of Spaniard Diego Costa by former manager Antonio Conte.

Higuain has been handpicked as the man for the role and with an aid from agent Fali Ramadani, Abramovich may finally get his man, including bringing on Daniele Rugani to the Bridge.

It is understood talks have progressed between both European superpowers and on Wednesday Juve’s president Fabio Paratici had a table session with some Blues officials with the intention of agreeing a deal worth €100million (£89m)( €100million ) for both Higuain and Rugani, as claimed by Corriere dello Sport via Daily Mail.

Chelsea favoured Ramadani to handle the negotiations process with the Turin side as it is understood he has a close relationship with Juventus.

Juventus will look to balance their books after their 100 million pounds acquisition of Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo, which makes offloading the duo, now, is the best card they can play in the transfer window.
